A book redesign and package creation for one of John Green's famous novels.

Looking for Alaska's first book design was a stream of smoke with a black background. Bookstores refused to sell them because it unwillingly promoted cigarettes. The solution was to add the tip of a candle at the bottom of the cover.

With this idea in mind, I wanted to explore taking a rebellious direction and literally advertise the book as an enlarged pack of cigarettes.

I designed the book cover and the packaging for it.
